The temp switch for the fan is located on the passengers side of the block. You can trace the wires back from the fan itself to the switch which is screwed into the block. The switch merely completes the electrical circuit to the fan when the switch reaches a preset temp. You can "jumper" the connector to complete the circuit and see if the fan actually works. If the fan works when "jumpered" Id say your temp switch needs replacing, they are available at all the vette vendors.
