988 is Steel Cities Gray. 2,346 cars were that color in 72. and 400 is black vinyl interior

Default Scg

You have made my weekend, this car came with an automatic and factory air and I had no idea what color it was when it came from the factory but SCG is outstanding. I was torn between tuxedo black and SCG but now there is no chance of anything but Steel Cities Grey and the Fiero seats will go in my 73.

glad that is what you wanted to hear. I suggest you look into buying the Corvette Black Book by Mike Antnonick. its a very handy little book that has all kinds of info like that in it.

I sure hope so I am adding a new spray booth onto my shop just to paint this car in, (well it was a good excuse anyway)
