79 to 80 bumper

79 to 80 bumper
Looking to install a 80-82 style rear bumper on a 79. Anyone tried one of these.

Is it a bolt on or does it require any fitting?

I put the 80 rear bumper on my 77 with no problems. I did have to remove a couple of parts to make it fit. I'm not sure of the name of them but are 'V' shaped with a rubber strip on them, probably for keeping the bumper in proper shape. Also had to drill 1 bolt hole to hold the bottom of bumper to cross member. I used 80 rear lights as I couldn't figure out how to use the originals but I have seen them used on other cars.
