Default Two Interior parts?

Quick question does anyone know what these two items are? I am looking to order replacements. The one i have is all scratched up from the guy who owned the car before me. Also how much effort is it to replace that big interior piece under the window anyway?

How bad are they scratched?
They are fiberglass, use some common paint stripper on them and repaint.
To remove the big piece, remove one side of the halo panel that goes up under the roof. That should give you enough room to swing the big piece out.
I removed and repainted 2 of mine 2 years ago because they were 'sticky'

Well basically every screw hole on that panel has a deep gauge which is a eye soar to me i guess. Whoever installed it did a poor job. I'd rather just replace the whole piece if i can.. Just not sure what it's called.

I believe it's called a rear window reveal moulding. Some folks call it a 'package shelf'.
You won't find a NEW one, tho.
I see em on ebay often, or some of the vendors that carry used parts may have it.

I've always concidered that the inside rear window molding and the left & right corner moldings. They're no longer available from GM and they aren't repro-ed either. You'd have to find used ones and they'd probably be in similar condition to the ones you have. I do have a half dozen used ones at my shop. I'll look through the ones I have in the morning, and PM you if I have anything in better shape.

The assembly instruction manual shows these, lists their GM name, and their original part numbers.

Personally, from what I see in your pic, the peices you have can be cleaned up and repainted. They're plastic.

If these these things are made out of plastics what would you use to fix the deep groves made by the screw driver that the dude did on each screw?

You can fill the scratches, but you would lose the grain effect. Shoot some semi-flat black on them as is and they'll look better in a heart beat.

Mine were horrid after lots of scratches from the T-tops scraping them. I took it out by removing the triangular pieces on both sides and then pulling the package shelf (th u-shaped thing) out. I stripped it with some chemical stripper and cleaned it up good, it's just fiberglass). All the scratches were superficial and mostly just paint and not into the fiberglass. I repainted them with some semi-gloss black spraypaint but I think I'm going to need to redo it because the paint I got scratches too easily. However it looks so much better than they did before.

Scratches can be patched with a plastic model putty, made by Squadron or Testors. After puttying and sanded to taste, use Testors liquid model glue to harden it up real nice, lid has a brush for applying and works great. Then prime and paint
