Yeah howl hahah, I always heard that beagles howl badly but I never believed it until now. She can match perfectly the sound of jets landing at the nearby airport.
I'm down for helping each other out, but my cars has far more work than yours.
LOL, you haven't seen the 78 Needs paint, cleaning and stuff tends to break whenever I take it for a drive. I just picked it up this year so I haven't gotten too deep into it yet. The 75 was pretty rough but work over the past few years has made it respectable. I'm down for helping out anyone for a few hours on a weekend when time permits.
Whereabouts in Houston do you live?
I am on the West side. off I-10 just west of Beltway 8. Toward Katy, but not all the way out there. Things on my short list to get it inspected and on the road are:
Emergency brake
Spark plugs
Transmission leak
power steering leak
headers and exhaust (I know this isn't a necessity to get it on the road)

Ah, some fun stuff.
E-brake suck and neither of mine work. I just found a "friendly" shop that didn't test them. If you were in my area, I would send you there.
Plugs are easy and are best reached throgh the wheel well.
Trans leak could just be a pan gasket
Power steering is probably lines. clean the everything off with degreaser and fill it up, Drive around slowly and turn the wheel to full lock a couple times and look for the leaks.
Wouldn't mind helping ya turn a wrench or 2. Might be a good excuse to send the wife and kiddo to Katy Mills mall to shop.
