Aftermarket AC question...
Do all the so called kits require that cars that did not come with factory AC loose that "CORVETTE" up in the top of the center gauges,
I dig the way that script looks in the dash but must add AC and soon....

It becomes an additional vent. But you could leave in the script and just let the supply lines vent towards the floor. The way the after market lines crush getting to that vent makes the vent less than worthy anyway. All the cold air hits the cabin either way.

Right...I was pointing out the script found only in non factory AC cars.
So do you guys think enough air flow would come from the...what I will call the floor vents to cool things...could perhaps the defroster vent be used for AC air?
I just think the center console looks too cool with the script there to remove it for vents if I do not have to

Vintage air has connections to the defrost vent on the dash. It also supplies warm air, dry if the A/C is on.
