I've noticed that some of the part houses show only one body mount kit for 73 - 82. Others show kits for Coupes and Convertibles. Some even differentiate by years.
Are there differences from one to another? What are they and should I worry?
Just about to start doing mne and all of the rubber mounts look the same to me. Anything will be better than the rotting rubber ones that I have now, but this isn't really a job I care to do twice.
I'm not aware of any differences in the body mounts for 73-75 convertibles, verses 73-82 coupes. 68-82s all use 8 body mounts (4 on each side), and the body mounts are all the same. 68-72 kits are different from 73-82, because the 68-72 mounts are aluminum, unlike the rubber cushions used in 73-82. I've never seen separate coupe and convertible kits offered for 68-72 or 73-82s.
63-67 kits come in coupe and convertible kits (except 63) because convertibles had a couple additional mounts, compared to the coupes.
