So after sitting for over a year she finally is running and almost everything is working fine. I crawled up underneath her last night and checked out some of the wiring. Turns out the wiper and blower motor where both a single bad ground wire that was comming apart in almost two different spots. I fixed that and two other wires and she started right up.
The timing is still off im pretty sure I have to move the plug wires back counter clockwise one or two spots but other than that she runs good. I am probably Heli-Coil the block and put some JB weld or something over the chipped off part and pray it solves the starter issue. The starter was almost louder than the car itself lol. I got the transmission linkage hooked up right so no more kicking into reverse from neutral on her own but the kickdown cable still leaks so I might drain the transmission and throw a gasket on that spot or find the right seal for it.
Other than that I just need to get the headlights working which is hopefully a fuseable link on the starter or the two crappy looking wires I found. One was a ground and the other was heading towards the headlights. Then I just need the passenger window and weatherstrip adjusted and a little clean up and we're good. Feels good to actually take her out for a second though.
When she has headlights and I can actually take her out in the rain it will be a better feeling lol. I just really want to get the starter issue figured out. Cant really weld a cast iron block so hopefully a helicoil will fix it. Otherwise its back to a motor swap. Hopefully Ill go through with it this time lol.
