WOO HOO! back on the road!
I've been working on getting my '70 rat motored coupe back on the road for several months now. It had been sitting idle in my garage for 25 years. First, had to redo the brake system; check. Then switched out the Qjet for a Holley, and had to get it tweaked; check. Then, started having ignition problems. I converted it from a Mallory dual point distributor to a Pertronix, and now she's ginning fine. I have several small issues to tend to, such as tach and speedo cables, vacuum system, etc., but as least I can take it down the road for short distances to whet my appetite. Gonna put tags and insurance on it Tuesday, so we'll be good to go! Will try to post pix as soon as I can figure out/remember how.
