Pittsburgh Corvettes
Please let me know...

They are in Martinsburg, PA, a little drive from Altoona. They are about a solid 2.25 hr. drive from PGH if traffic is good. Lotta construction between PGH and Altoona/Martinsburg area.
Oh, and yes they are still in business. Its best to call ahead to make sure they are there also. HTH....
If visiting him is a bit of a drive as you say, I'd suggest making a day of it and check out some of the local tourist traps. There are about a dozen at least in the Altoona area that would make a nice Saturday outing.
He seems to get a decent amount of cars in nowadays. There have been times when all he had were more collectable ones stored inside on the show floor. Not sure what you are looking for or how deep your pockets are but he has some pretty nice stuff indoors. LT1 convertibles/coupes, BB and SB verts/cps. TOP dollar for the inside stuff though.
Hope this helps some. I am gonna try to get back down to his shop before the snow flies this year myself. I have 2 C3s myself and was tossing around downsizing. Good luck!!

Been intrigued by this one - but repainted front bumper and headlamps cover not flush with body makes me think it had a front crash ...

If you are going to visit Hobbycar you might also want to visit Keystone Corvettes in Mt. Union, Pa. it's no too far from them at all. Joe has a nice selection of very reasonably priced vettes. Just google keystonecorvettes.net to check out his inventory. He is a very nice guy..
