Our new garage is smaller than our previous two, and its top of a steep hill, turn-in configuration requires two things. First I have to drop off passengers before pulling in. Second I have to pull partially in, back up, then pull in while hugging the passenger side next to that side of the garage to save from door dings. Since I crest a hill when I turn-in, I also cannot see the ground when I pull in.

I took my son for a drive this morning... and had to place my T-tops on a carpet remnant where I park.

You guessed it - by concentrating on hugging the wall, I morted a T-top.

On the bright side, I will soon be doing my part for our economy as I am now in the market for a passenger side T-Top.

Another T Top woe story. One month ago I washed and waxed by 69. As always, the last thing I do in the process is remove my T Tops and place them on my luggage rack so I can polish the chrome area under them. As I'm removing the polish, I hear something sliding and out of the cornor of my eye I caught the sight my right T Top mid air and heading for the asphalt. Couldn't come close to saving it and whenever I think of my stupidity, I feel so depressed. Fortunately the paint and chip can be repaired.

The thing is I have a 3 car garage with all the room I will ever need and was just too lazy to take the time and place the tops on my work bench.

Live and learn...... You don't even want to hear some of the dumb stuff I have done in the past. Here's hoping you both recover without too much of an expense!

Stay in tune....
