I would imagine others will want more information and pics if possible, but I'll share with you what I just paid for a '79 L-82 and maybe that will help you.
1979 L-82, 4 speed, two owner with 40,000 actual miles, excellent driver quality paint, red with fawn interior in perfect condition, engine area chromed out the wazoo and clean enough to eat off of, two sets of t-tops and new tires. Paid $12,000.
I don't think I stole it nor do I think I overpaid for it. I shopped hard for a period of time and felt like this was a good/fair deal and had absolutely everything on my list of preferences. There are a ton of C3's out there for sale today, so if you aren't in a hurry, you can find what you want. Good luck.
