Default Dawson Creek Car Show

Went to the local car show (60 mi. away) in Dawson Creek, B.C. this past weekend. I was VERY surprised to be able to arrange for 3 C3's to be together at the show.

I've seen and talked to the owner of the other coupe but the vert was new this year. He just picked it up in Edmonton about a month ago. I was really excited to have all three 68's together. I sure had a great chance to crawl under and around the other two cars. I've been all over my car of course but to be able to compare it to other 68's was a real pleasure. I talked to the coupe owner last year but it was late evening and very poor light. So this time I was all over his car and checking out EVERYTHING. I think he thought I was crazy. I was like a kid in a candy store.

Because of the wealth of information I have gleamed from this site it was easy to see that I was the most informed about the 68's. I was able to answer almost ALL of their questions. Including recommending part retailers which they had no idea about. (your welcome Wilcox) Of course told them about this site too.

Here's some pics of the vert.

The other coupe

My favorite shot with my coupe in the front.

From the other end.

I took pics of other cars at the show but I still feel these were the best

Nice cars, nice show, and looks like very nice weather you had for the show. I also like rooting around looking at other vettes. It's fun.

Is the Alaska Highway paved? We did it six times on gravel in the 1950s.

Yes the Alaska Hwy. is paved. I'm going to Whitehorse next week but not taking the vette. Taking the p/u and quad for a week of quading in the mountains.

I won't bore you with pics of the days when I lived in the military PMQs at Whitehorse. Have fun.
