In my manual it shows wiring for power seats. They must have been in the 80 to 82 era. My 73 doesn't have a lot of room for travel so it must be fairly short movement
Power seats came out in 1981...driver's side only. That is when the floor pan was dropped down on the driver's side to allow for the power seat track.
My '81 did not come with power, but has it now.
Maybe I am wrong but the pacecar had a lot of firsts. The seats in it were the same as was used in the late model C3's , I know the compartments were even changed in that year. If your isn't a PC maybe it has neen added. Cool, I didn't know 79s had em, good info.

without the dropped floor pan, there isn't enough room for adapting power seats to earlier than 81 models.
oes anyone have a picture of the dropped floor pan area? I would be curious to see the differences between the dropped and not dropped floors where the motor goes.
