I just finished my interior today. New seats, new carpet, replaced all odds and ends that had issues and redyed anything faded. New compartment doors, wood and carpet. It looks great and I am no longer ashamed to have people look inside at the ripped seat, the faded rear carpet and warped compartment doors! Now to enjoy it for the rest of the summer and start dreaming on the winter projects....
Enid, OK! I have a good friend in Enid, Merwyn Prey, and he's a Corvette guy too. Merwyn's a retired firefighter and has been restoring and repairing Vettes for years.
Congrats on getting the interior together. It's always a good feeling when a project is finaly finished, isn't it!
Pictures, pictures, pictures, where are the pictures. I know the feeling of a nice new
interior, You will enjoy the car more now then you have ever before, it makes you feel
as if your driving a new car, something to be proud of.
Tell me what you think. When I got it the carpet was all faded, the front drivers seat was ripped and a lot of small things needed redyed. I replaced the steering wheel since it had an aftermarket one, I dyed it to match. The compartment doors were broken and the wood warped so I replaced that as well.
Very Nice! I like the carpet coveing the console area. May I ask which company you ordered the carpeting from? I need to install new carpeting and could use some info. THX
