Carb Help!
My vette died at work the other day (45 miles away from home!?). I had a car savvy guy look at it (I knew very little about carbs at that point), he said that I have a clogged needle and seat.
He recommended that I pull the bowl off and clean the needle and seat. Carbs are were black magic to me, I understand a lot more now, but before I try this myself I would like some pictures. The guy that looked at it can help rebuild it, but I like to pride myself on learning new skills.
So if you felt like reading all of the above, great. If not here is the bottom line question:
Anyone got instructions / pictures on cleaning the needle and seat and reassembly????
Thanks

Best.

There was a very good writeup with lots of pictures in the April 2010 Corvette Fever. If you can't find it, I can probably scan it, and email it to you.
If you decide to rebuild it yourself, take notice of the research Lars has recently done on the accelerator pumps.
Rebuilding is not very difficult, and afterwards, the carb will no longer be such a mystery.
