Default 75' Dark Red Coupe

Hey guys, I introduced myself over in the correct forum, just thought I'd connect with the C3 guys.

Little more info on the car:

As I said, the car went through a full body-off resto 4 years ago, new brakes, suspension, wheels, tires etc. The engine was sent to Gellner Engineering in Cleveland, where they rebuilt it, and while I'm not quite sure of every detail they changed, I know the compression ratio is up to 11ish? mild cam, competition valves, new rods, lifters, 4 barrel-spread bore edelbrock carb and more. Exhaust was switched to a true-dual, with some type of after market mufflers. The tranny was rebuilt as well, and Ricky put a 3.08 rear-end in. He gave us many extra parts, including the 4.11 rear end, which I am very curious to try out (should I?). Ricky put 15,000 miles on the car since, the restoration, so I felt that the engine had been thoroughly broken in.

The car has been running well so far: got caught in a Thunderstorm yesterday and she did well, T-Tops were redone so I didn't have any leakage. There seems to be a lot of heat that comes off the engine, which from looking around here is a normal thing I hear. The A/C was taken out, and it gets pretty hot in there if you have to run windows up. I looked at the insulation kit, but didn't know if that was really effective for heat as it isn't really a firewall kit.

The other thing, which may be ironing itself out, is that when I put the petal down hard, in second and third gear I sometimes get some buck and shake I guess I would call it? If I back off the throttle a little bit it smooths back out. I'm no expert, especially on carbureted engines, but it seems like something is starving. When I test drove it, Ricky said "doesn't sound like the other two barrels have opened up" in reference to the car not being warmed up. Anyway, after a few tanks of 93 octane the effect doesn't happen as often...I think. Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

So that's my story, and here's my list of upgrades/fixes for the future.

New sound system
