Hood Support 68 vette
I think that I may have an after market hood and I need help with the hood support. I have the original hood support for the car but if I attached to the current holes the hood will not go all the way up. There are some "markings" for a different set of holes that seem to fit the hood support I have but I don't know how/what to do with those. Is there a hood support, different year, vendor, whatever that will fit. It seems to me that if the hood support was about 4" shorter it would work great. Any ideas???

If memory serves, the '68 hood support is one year only. Ditto for the left hand fender skirt where it mounts. The hood on my '68 has two potential mounting points for the support like yours, but I am betting the hood on my car is a '69 or later hood.
