I am thinking about starting another project with a 350CI engine. I am drawn to the Dart Iron Eagle 180 heads and was wondering if anyone here has used them? Curious about power, torque and ease of installation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I had Dart 11 iron heads, 200 intake runners on a 350. They had had port work but the engine came with dyno sheets, engine was making 480hp, 11:1 comp, solid flat cam, so guess the heads were working well. Probably did 20,000 miles no issues
I have a set of 210 intake runner ones that I ran on a 383 until a piston blew up. It made fantastic power. I'm planning on using them on my 415 build. I think you lose a little using iron heads rather than aluminum, but I certainly didn't notice any shortcomings with these heads. I'd run out of road long before I ran out of RPMs.
