Do you have a stock ignition and a stock engine? If so, all you need are stock spec plugs and wires of whatever brands and colors you like. Thicker, low resistance wires are nice though.

If you have headers, you might want to look into really high temp wires...several companies make them...MSD, Accel, Taylor and others.

While I prefer AC spark plugs..their Rapid Fire plugs are excellent, with a stock system any brand plug of the appropriate application and heat range is fine. Buying exotic spark plugs when the system doesn't require them is a waste of money.

Accel Spiral Core 8mm with 90 degree boots. I get the universal set and cut to fit so I get the exact length that I need.

I'm running Jegs 8.5mm yellow wires on my '78 Z28 and like them, so I went ahead and installed the same on the Vette. For spark plugs, I went with the Bosch platinums plus. These plugs are good if you have headers since they're a bit shorter.

I have the RapidFire #2 plugs with the Corvette Central data code correct wires and think they are spot on!

Here is a ton of reference information under Ignition Systems.

Thanks for the input guys. Since everything is stock and it doesn't seem to matter, I'll probably go with Accel because they're yellow
