Broken valve spring
OMG
I finally got it running decent. I have been screwing with this car all summer triing to get it running decent, distribitor,rotor, wires, plugs, timing, TCS, carb, all the simple stuff.
Fouling that #1 plug...WTF
Today I pulled the valve cover and there it is stareing me in the face. a broken valve spring. intake. Bla Bla Bla....
Well $2.50 spring later... 2 hours time... and I am tear'in it up again...
Un believeable. I should have ripped that valve cover off in May when I thought the seal on that valve was bad.
Live and learn... I am just glad I am able to fix this stuff myself, It might take me a while to figure it out but I can fix it...
