Touch up Paint?!?

Touch up Paint?!?
So after over looknig my car yesterday to see what I'm gonna go next, I noticed that there are quite a few paint scratches and nicks all over my paint. I have a 1975 Coupe, with the paint color "bright green metallic". Where can I but a little bottle of touch up paint, and do they match pretty well to the origial color? anyone have any experience with that?
Oh and yesterday I saw a C6 vette and he waved. It was a good welcome home for me

You can find touch up paint at most of the generic auto parts places, but what you find is not likely to be model specific. You can go here http://www.corvettepaintcodes.com/ and get the orignal paint codes for your car.
You have to remember the paint on your car has spent a while being faded by sun and weather. The touch up paint will be shiny and new.

does anyone actually has this color of paint on their car? for some reason, I would think that it would be a hard color to match, seeing its not generic... Looking for products that some one has tested.

If You have a really good paint shop near by, You should be able to take the car to them and have them mix You up some. The problem with getting the original colour that was put on is it will have faded to some degree. The other thing is it looks like Your car may have 2 base colours? Like candy apple red does. It may just be the way the picture looks but it almost looks too bright to just be green with clear over top. Very nice green by the way.
