I just purchased my first corvette. 1971 Stingray Coupe. She is driveable but certainly needs some detailing work done. I'm looking for an updated service/repair manual that will also help with the restoration process. One that will explain in detail with photo's if possible the vac hose connections and routing, dash wiring, interior trim replacement, engine compartment etc.etc.etc. Anyone have any suggestions. I'm looking forward to getting started on her. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Welcome. My advice would be to purchase the GM chassis service manual and the assembly instruction manual (AIM) for 1971. You will find both to be helpful.

Purchase a reproduction owner's manual for your 71 if you do not have an original. Lots of useful information in the owner's manual.

Welcome to the 71 club.

Dr Rebuild sells a color schematic poster of vacuum lines for headlights and wiper door....great to use for troubleshooting or installing those lines.

Also the NCRS is a great resource www.NCRS.org
