Default What project should i do next?

I buttoned up the car's quick U-joint rebuild today and I'm sitting here thinking I have all weekend and nothing in mind to do on the car.

I have 2 options I need to do that i am putting off since both options i'm not too excited about.

1. I have to take the headlights i just installed out so i can drill and tap a hole for the blinker bracket to attach too. For some reason the ones i had didn't have the hole drilled and i didn't realize it till they were already installed. And the bracket is a little loose and the lights hit it when going up/down so it'll need being done eventually.

2. I have to get the new parking brake stuff i bought on the car. Which means a super hard and long day with some pliers and a tiny hole to fit them through

suggestions on something i can do to improve anything? What are some of you all doing this weekend?

I am a little under the weather this weekend so I am planning to turn on the A/C in the garage and do some cleaning, polishing and waxing. Maybe some stereo work, nothing heavy. Glad to see you got the shafts back in. mike...

I did "some" cleaning last weekend organizing all my old rusted parts. Stuck them in bags according to what they went to and stuffed them all together in the garage closets out of the way probably never to be used again....

I've got my suspension about where it needs to be. I'm not going to align it this season as i'm sure i'm going to just tear into the ride this winter some so i'll wait till spring to do that.

BUT my engine is in desperate need of some attention. I've only done plugs and wires but i think tomorrow i'm going to look into a distributor and maybe a new fuel filter(mine is right next to the engine block) and see if i can get it running a bit smoother and with some more power.

I'm in between the two options. It's drivable but definitely not a looker by any means. But it is my only car(i use my motorcycle for all other stuff) so having it running some of the time is always a nice change of pace.
