I like looking at all the old cars but usually talk most to the C3 guys. On Friday nights ,just about 200 yards from this crash site,is a pretty good cruise in.

I had a customer with a real nice orange 76 C3 run into the same bridge about 2 years ago and commit suicide.
I go over ,under or around that bridge several times each day.
There are people all over the area today just walking around and taking pictures , kinda creepy. Looks like the cops have their hands full trying to keep people off the interstate.
Seems odd it just so happens there was a camera running to film it, I bet the camera man and the airborne car were up to something.

Yep , the news said it was a cruiser. I'm sure the kid will get his 15 min of fame. Maybe when he goes on the Today show he'll tell us what he was trying to do.
I have always looked at the Smart Car as a death trap, but after seeing this video i'm not so sure.
However, every blood vessel in your body would probably rupture from such an inpact.
Yeah I would agree too. Holy crap what a crash. This like the old days when Detroit made cars with lots of iron so they'd survive the impact. The cars survived but the driver didn't. Since then they've learned to make the cars absorb the energy by folding up. Nothing to fold up on that thing!! Man that's scarey!
