I need to purchase a car cover for mostly inside storage for my 71. She may be outside overnight occasionally but not often. Has anybody found one to be of better quality than others? Thanks.
Most everyone likes the Wolf type material including myself. It's heavier and breathes unlike those lightweight plastic covers. Zip and many others have them.
I have had a wolf multi fabric cover for the past 15 or 20 years. Can't remember the year the wife gave it to me as a gift. I love it and its color is identical to my car. "Lemans Blue".
I would never leave my vette outside with or without its cover. But if you have to leave your Vette outside for a night, keep the cover inside. If it rains, the car can easily be cleaned. The wolf cover will take time to clean. It is the best cover I have seen for indoor use.
Mid American Motorworks is a good sources of information. Catalog has details about what kinds of covers work best for what conditions (indoor, outdoor, both).
I have a very breathable (rated 5 out of 5) indoor cover because my ride is under the cover a lot inside the garage and I was more concerned about moisture than being waterproof (outdoors).
