Default Carlisle question....

Been asked by group members about lawn chairs.

Since our vettes will be park somewhere, while walking the grounds, should we take our lawn chairs with us or is theres plenty of large tents and chairs/tables for us to sit and rest ?

We don't want to carry lawn chairs if I don't need too !

Tks

There aren't many tables and chairs available. There are some in the food area(s) but other than that, not much. I would bring some with you - or you can pick some up in the area when you get there. (You can probably buy them on the fairgrounds if you want something 'Vette themed - but probably cheaper at a "Walmart" or "Target". Every year I say I'm going to get some - actually buying them later today.

If you drive your vette and get to the fairgrounds before 9am, you can usually park for free in an area on the fairgrounds. Bring the chairs and set them up beside your car.

Lawn chairs are great for setting up if your Vette is on display at either the Fun Field or Car Corral. However, if you are parking in the general Corvette parking area, you're probably not gonna want to set up chairs and sit there.

You are definitely not gonna want to lug chairs around all day. Best locale for R&R is the Grandstand. It is centrally located with many rows of bench seating, in the shade, with plenty of food and drink nearby.

Stop by the NCCC Booth Friday from 2-5 p.m., where I will be happy to sell you some raffle tix and let you sit for free! Have fun,

Rickman
