Default Help on light bulb removal

The right front parking light is not working on my 76 . The blinker part of the bulb works. I got under the front of the car and removed the bulb socket but can not get the bulb to come out. Is there a trick to getting it out? I tryed pushing in , turning, etc but it wont budge. I dont want to break it just get it out. Any help.

sounds like it may be corroded a bit, spray some wd 40 or something at the base of the bulb. should just need to push and turn to release it. Maybe use a rag in case it breaks so you don't cut yourself.

I've run accross a few of those myself. What I found works best under those circumstances is intentionally breaking the bulb. Then use a needle nose to grab an edge of the brass casing and twist it out. Intentionally breaking it will prevent inadvertantly breaking it and getting hurt.
