Anyone with TPI conversion experience...please step inside
I have an 82 that ive converted to TPI after a frame off. Last night was the first time in 3 years that the engine finally has run after the rebuild. Couple questions I have and are looking for answers are....
1. the TPI conversion harness has a Speed Sensor plug (4000k) where or how does this plug in...do I have to get a screw on/universal speed sensor generator? I have the 700r4
2. the harness has extra leads for a 2000k speed sensor output...where/how does this connect?

Did a TPI swap a number of years ago on my pick-up using the factory computer, and yep, I had to run a speed sensor. It screwed in between the trans(700R4) and the speedo cable, plus I had to use a "buffer" to convert the signal into something the computer could read. Talk to the place you bought your wiring harness from, they should be able to help
