Default Leaking T- Top Question

My new to me 79 with mirrored t tops leaks so much rain water thru the front outside corner (closest the windshield & closest to the side window) that I cant help but think that I am not installing them correctly or am missing a piece of rubber somwhere.

It leaks on both sides of the car at the same location...and all the rubber looks relatively new..

Also, it leaks from sitting in the rain....as well as while driving...

Any tricks to latching them?

Common problem???

Common fix????

my 79 leaks in the same spots, in fact there is a small hole (1/8") where the rubber and glass meet. i think the new weatherstriping just isnt as good as a fit as the oem was.
i've tried adjusting the glass, pulling the t top down tighter, but still have a small opening there in the corner. i tried replacing the pillar strip rubber , t top weath-stripping also.
i just try and keep it out of the rain.!!
