69 corvette hood swap
I have a 69 small block hood that somebody cut hole into to close hood due to engine upgrade. I took that hood off and got one off a 69 corvette from a for sale add. The hood is a motion hood and it fits perfect except for the female latch on the passenger side is diferent than the one I had on the hood with the whole. If I can explain this right it is like this: The whole hood pass side has a bump underneath the latch whole. The motion hood pass side has bump to the left side of latch whole not allowing it to bolt up the same way. another way to look at it is the driver side layout of the whole cut hood is the same on the pass side. The motion hood is the same on the driver side but diff on the pass side . I will try to upload pictures. Thanks in advance for your help.
