Default Pittsburgh area repair shop

Anyone out there know of a reliable, fairly priced and who does timely work on either the mechanics or the body/frame in Southwestern Pennsylvania? Thanks in advance

I can tell you where not to take it. That would be Corvette Technicians. I took it there for a window frame replace and they did a terrible job. T-tops, windows, still don't line up or seal correctly.

Not sure exactley what you are looking for but when I did my restoration I used RCS for the engine rebuild. Not cheap, but very good.

There is Bair's corvettes that I used for some stuff also. Again excellent workmanship, prices, and extremly nice people. They are about 3 hours north of Pittsburgh.

Near the intersection of RT 51 and RT 88. They have a web site, just google them.

Unless money doesn't matter to you, do not take to procomp customs. Work is great if you pay premium but unless you want to be a jerk with them they cut corners.

Absolutely do NOT go to Corvette Technicians in Irwin. They are the biggest con operation in the business. Many have been screwed by Paul Lutz, and someday if he screws the wrong person he might find himself wearing concrete shoes. Especially in Pittsburgh.

I would highly recommend going the extra distance to Bairs Corvette in Linesville PA, northwest of PIT, near Conneaut Lake. The best in the business.

PM me if you want details.
