Default Outdoor car cover

I have never used an outdoor car cover before since all my nice cars were in the garage. This winter I will need a outdoor car cover for the '73.
I have a CoverCraft Dust Cover for my Pontiac Solstice but it is an indoor cover. The quality is great but CoverCraft is quite expensive. I'm thinking there has to be a great outdoor cover that is less expensive.

What type and brand do you use for your C-3 is it has to be kept outdoors?

I've had car covers for my vettes that have sat outside from time to time and just purchased a "typhoon" class type cover from Mid-America. Just got back being away for two weeks and removed cover yesterday after two days of heavy rainfall. Quite pleased with the protection in contrast to past covers. Before I used a plastic cover for the convertible, top, a four-layer Noah cover with a tyvec cover. When rainfall is heavy...everything gets soaking wet and dust finds its way through the cover and onto the paint surface. Not so with the typhoon. Consider it. Picked it up at Carlisle with a 10% discount and no shipping.

I've found the Typhoon car cover in MA catalog, looks like a nice one. I was thinking of purchasing a car cover named The Wall which is in Eckler's catalog. It sells for $99.99. But...you always get what ya pay for so I am seriously considering the Thypoon car cover Ma sells. THX for your response!

My two are by Wolf and I have no complaints. I believe they were $129.00 each at the time I bought them.

You do not want a dust cover for outside storage. You want someting fairly heavy weight, flannel lined, and breathable to allow moisture beneath the cover to evaporate.

Do not go with anything generic, one-size-fits-all. Purchase a specific C3 cover.
