OT - engine sealant
This is entirely off topic, but has anyone ever used either of these products to seal coolant leaks in an engine? Got a friend who has an older farm truck and he's trying to avoid an engine teardown, at least until next summer.

Black pepper from the grocery store. A whole "picnic" size shaker will seal (or greatly slow) most leaks in either the core or the head. Try it for less than $2... you can't lose. Dump it right in the radiator and run until good and warm.

You might try this for coolant leaks ... BLUE DEVIL ... it usually works ... not always ... but usually. Around here, the parts stores offer a full money-back guarantee ... you can't find a better guarantee on anything ... local stores pays on the spot if not satisfied with outcome ... READ directions until you KNOW em ... then don't deviate at all. A quart of Blue Devil costs about $60.
