light always on inside the tape deck
I have had my '81 Vette for 13 years now and have always had a problem were my battery dies when I don't start it for a week. I know there must be some short or something draining the batery. I have just gotten in the habit of disconecting it if it is going to sit, or just charging the batery the day before I am planning on using the car. However just yesterday I was getting in it and noticed that from the angle I was climing in that I could see a light on behind the door of my tape deck. It is the original equipment radion/tape player. I opened the door and there is some sort of light on even though the car was shut off and no key was in the ignition. Is that suposed to be on? Can somone check their car and see if they have a light on? Thank you.
