I had to pick up a prescription for my wife, so I decided to take my '76. I got about five miles from home when I thought I saw a brown leaf blowing around in my windshield wiper bay. I only saw it for a brief instant so I didn't think much about it. The next time I saw it, I realized it had eyes and was furry. The little bas... er... illegitimate offspring must have got into the Vette in the garage. I keep three mouse traps set all year round and he still goes into the Vette. Why not my wife's POS that I've been trying to get her to replace for about four years.
After I came out of the doctor's office with the prescription, I opened the hood but I didn't see any signs of a nest. I hope the little bas... er... illigitimate offspring got out at the doctor's office because it's 20 miles away.
Hoping with you that it's out of the Vette! Chewed wires, nasty droppings, etc, etc... Perhaps it suffered a crushing defeat from the fan belt wrapping around it's neck!
Annoying critters - one of our family laughs is remembering the efforts we made to kill one of those suckers in our house... and the satisfying sound of everyone going YES! when the trap finally popped on his sorry head about 2 am one morning.
Found this guy in the heater fan on the wife's '03 daily driver. What a pain getting in there. One heck of a hamster cage ride when she put that thing on high.
i have the squirell problem, i have found sevral hundered acorns on my exhaust and in the engine compartment, they are nasty pests, good luck in getting rid of them
