core support help
were core supports ever shimmed?center bumper support hits center nose support.any suggestions? this is a 68 front clip on a 69 could be early 68 orig core support was different

they shimmed core supports all over.....sides and bottom. Best thing to do is photo the shims....as they are being removed, put them in a zip loc bag and mark location and orientation....they only make those guys (shims) in about 6 thicknesses, could be all sorts of combinations....
I am in the same kind of situation...needing to shim....only problem, I didn't take it apart.
