Well here she sits, pretty much just a body, frame, and rear diff at this point. The goodies start getting put in today.
Here's the old weak heartbeat.....
Here's the new transplant waiting its turn.....
Here are some shots showing most everything stripped out....
and a trailer full of the tired old stock stuff that wont be making its way back into the car......
Then it back to the house where I'll spend the winter upgrading the seats, sound system, installing heat shield/sound insulation, and eliminating the vacuum headlight assembly.
PHPD, in that last PIC looks like you could get a little cash back on some of those parts. Like the T/A's at least. Looks like some vendors stuff at Carlisle. Take care Marine.
That looks like a ZZ4 that you will be putting in to it. If so that is the best crate SB motor GM has ever made. I put one in a '69 Z28 clone I had awhile back. With a Holly 750 DP and the M-21 4spd it would just fly! You are making great progress. Keep us posted, we look forward to the finish product and test drive report.

I plan on offering some of that stuff up after the car is done, so hopefully I can offset the costs at least a wee bit.

You got it right in 1! The ZZ4 will be sucking gas through a Holley 770 cfm Street Avenger carb and backed by a Tremec 5 Spd transmission, and 3.73 gears in the pumpkin out back.
The hard part is going to be spending the entire winter just looking at it.
