I know u guys say to use duramix to bond the clip on... Is this the right type of duramix?

I used 3M 08219 to glue the front clip.

The Duramix you cite is for SMC panels, good for 74-82 cars. What year are you working on?

O Ok gotcha. The year I am working on is a 69, and I am puting on a new "aftermarket" replacement clip.

Safest choice would be to use a bonding compound which is compatible with with SMC and polyester fiberglass. Your new clip might be SMC. Your old, stock panels are polyester.

All the inner fenders stuff is already bonded in, I just need to bond the clip to the car near the firewall and doors. How much do you think I will need?

Tough to say, but probably more than one. Better to have more on hand than you need and return the extra.
