Default 72 window motors

Both window motors were basically stuck while they were in the car, one moved a little and the other just flipped me off. I got them out and cleaned 40 years of crap out of them now they both spin. Is there a test to make sure they are strong enough to keep? Is there specs somewhere for overhaul on them?

Sorry I can't help you with your motors. My '72 motors are in my left arm when driving and right arm when sitting in the passenger seat. They've never failed me, yet, but the right one is a little slower, lately, after falling off a step ladder 2 weeks ago. Good luck. I'm sure someone will chime in with the info you need.

I'm not aware of a test proceedure. They fit like 55-77 Corvette and a whole lot of other GM products so they are pretty available out there new. I believe it also fits 78-82 by re-using a bracket and changing a plug.
