I am thinking of joining the vetteheads club my wife and I met these guys at carlisle corvettes and they seemed to be a unique group of guys not to mention the 4 day get together plus other events are there any members on here?
We don't need no stinking shirts, uhh badges. Some VHs hang around the C2 section or the NCRS site. Most are very antisocial and don't go to either. I'm the only one here with any regularity. That says a lot right there.
Mike can you pm. me on membership for my wife and I? thank you.I tend to eat grease, drink oil, inhale exhaust and pass gas wife is a gear head too.http://photobucket.com/bertpayne as you can see.

I love that picture. It should make most married men jealous!
I married a gal who loves saltwater fishing. Most men are jealous when we are out fishing offshore on our boat. Gotta love a tom-boy.
thank you,you probably wont believe this but she loves fishing,in fact I bought her a jon boat and set it up with all the stuff you need for fishing and crabbing, and if you mess with her fishing stuff its like throwing a mechanics tools in the mud!BIG TROUBLE
joining Vetteheads? you will lose your sanity, and better keep a TIGHT grip on your wife. Other than those downsides have fun, it's an interesting group of people...
The Carlisle gathering is the best though, especially when we set up the pool.
BTW, I see you are close by in Belair, Md.
Hope you are coming to the big show on Nov 7th... http://corvettesforchip.com There might even be one or two Vetteheads there besides myself.
They are a great group of people, Carlisle is one of the larger get togethers (Olde Town in Floriduh is another).
There are no rules on the board, almost anything goes, and usually does. Sometimes gets a little too political for me, but I have thick skin.
Several members worked for GM and actually built the Corvettes we now restore, the wealth of knowledge is incredible. They helped me a lot during the resto of our '65 roadster.
Jump in, most are welcome. They even let me and Mike Ward join
