Default Light Show

I've been helping some of you out with your lights, so here's mine.

-2 5W Luxeon LEDs equipped with DRL Module and Solid State Blinker Modules

-Luxeons on Low and 6W European City Lights (Lights Stay Down)

-Luxeons with Cibie 65W High Beams (Lows Stay Off and Lights Stay Down)

-65W Low Beams

-Just Fun - High Beams Went for 2 Miles Before I Upgraded the Bulbs and they are Yellow!

-2 5W Luxeon LEDs on Low (So You Are Seeing 2 3W LEDs), Note the Custom Middle with 48 LEDs on the License Plate (Made Covering from a Test Tube and Seals from Silicone)

-2 5W Reverse Lights - Light Goes Twice as Far as Stock 50W Bulbs

-This Gets me Attention at Car Shows

LEDs actually use much less power. I did have to do a little bit of electrical and fabrication work for some of this, but the drain is much less.

Thats very cool and very bright. Should be waring shades to look at pics. Do You have a wiring diagram for this set-up? Is it possible to do this to the side markers withh leds and not change or Buuba the original wiring? Our cars stand out during the day why not at night too? That looks great.

Thanks, Glynn. Only when I come to visit!

The license plate was my attempt at being clever. Was I successful?

There are several different aspects and options, but there are wiring diagrams depending on your goals. I have relays for headlights and high beams, redid the license plate lighting, put in a DRL module, have blinking sidemarkers, and had to rewire the high beam switch to allow me to turn on just the high beams. What are your goals?

I DO have LEDs on my sidemarkers (as stated above) that blink with my turn signals (I actually did it at Glynn's house). That would be another wiring diagram.

I assume it means false (NOM) 427 as in faux fur (false fur).

I recognize your car! I was having dinner in Gettysburg 2 years ago during Corvettes at Carlisle. Your car (memorable tag) was parked on Baltimore Street near the Jenny Wade House. I was with Stan (Second Generations) and we did the once-over on your car. I always look for yellow sharks!

I saw your found it, but the Cibie lights, Osram bulbs, blinking sidemarker diagram all came from Stern. Most of the LEDs can be had at Autolumination.com

That is very kind of you. I assume you noticed that I need to glass the hood a little more to remove gaps and I need paint, but she looks good at night.
