Default wiper delay module

i have a 1981 vetter with delay wipers. when the wiper switch is in the delay position, the wipers just stay on low - no delay feature. does anyone know where the wiper delay module is and what color wires would i cross with an ohmmeter to check the switch?

Thank you.

Jeff

The delay module is located in the center console underneath the Dash behind the radio. I had the same problem it was my delay module. Craig

For a 1981 car I think you'll find that the module is in one of the rear compartments, ( under the load space floor) the passenger side one I believe. I confess I'm not sure about wire colours in '81. On 78 (and some 79s) the module can be by passed at the fuse box, by replacing the curious brown plastic item with a fuse. Again, not too sure about 81s.

I just replaced my module today it is located in the jack storage compartment , from the passenger seat it is on the left & if original it will have reinforced tape wrapped aroud it.

I just purchased a module for my '81. I have the same problem. I am sending it in to the vendor to be checked by the company that makes them.
