I think 10K should be about tops but if you see a nice one and it looks and runs good and don't need too much done to it then I think a lot of people buy them for 10K. I paid 11,800 for mine which I know was too much but the wife wanted it so we bought it. Its all in what you want and price don't really matter if you plan on keeping it and willing to pay what you bought it for.
I paid 11800 for my 77. It is a turn key ALL new redone car. I was willing to pay more too, But bargined the price down. To me anything under 12500-13k max is good for a c3 rubber nose that is turn key ready to go, needs nothing.
Paid 10500 for my '75 about 4or5 years ago ...turn key... maybe a little high priced, but as I remember, houses were selling for a lot more back then too .....The economy has as much to do with price as condition of the car ..
if u go to my profile and look at my pics u can see the car.. i cant post them right now cause im deployed in afghanistan and these stupid comps wont allow me to do that...

Yours is a 75? It has a 76 wheel. and a 80 rear. Did they switch the steering wheel? Why? Car looks great. Stop thinking about the $$. $$$ is just a tool to use to enjoy life. Sometimes you'll have enough, sometimes you won't. It's not worth stressing over. Enjoy your ride>>>>
