Anyone know the shelf life of PPG DELSTAR© - Acrylic Enamel? I have a gallon on the shelf that has never been used. It has never been below freezing or above 80 degrees..
This could reduce the cost of my C3 79 re-paint by quite a bit! (just throwing around a few ideas in my head)

If you can stir the solids off the bottom of the can and not have a clumpy, gooey mess clinging to the stick I'd say go for it. If you will have to strain pigment lumps before you shoot it, it's gone bad. FYI, there's a guy on eBay selling PPG OMNI acrylic enamel... fresh and factory packed... for about $50/gallon delivered to your door. If he has a color you like (mine's gonna be maroon), you can get into a single stage job with hardener and reducer for right at $100... add $35 or so if you want to seal it first. That's practically free in today's market!
