The pic must be good. I got itchy just LOOKING at it

By way of encouragement.. my rear underside looked just like yours last year. A sandblaster, paint, bearings, bushings, and a couple calipers later and....

The bad part is when you get glass fibers stuck in your palm when sanding. Irritating...and painful!

Check out the Firestone Firehawk 255/60/15's - That's what I put on Old Thirsty.
They are the widest you can get in there safely and are the factory diameter.

Brand snobbery time LOL
Use Spicer U-joints, Timken bearings, VB&P rear spring, Bilstein shocks, and Moog ball joints - in other words use the name brand high end stuff now, to avoid re-work. Buy a case of Rustolium semi-gloss black paint too.
