Default Door panel adhesive

My drivers side door panel is separating from the door metal frame...what can I use prevent it to continue? What adhesive will give the best bond' and how do I need to prep the area..do I need to remove the whole thing and can I just add the adehsive to the affected area and C-clamp it until it cures?
Thanks in advance for any tip...

Do not attempt to remove the door skin. Leave well enough alone.

Fusor or similar will rebond the skin. Clean the road gook out of the open area as best you can.

I have used "3M Structural Adhesive" on a few panels to metal. It is a two part mixture, and you have to work fast, seems to work well.

The fiberglass to metal fusor product is fusor 127. It is a 2 part epoxy that mixes itself with a twin cartridge gun and disposable nozzle. Excellent stuff; have used it before. I think they also make faster setting versions of 127 as well.

If you want to research it and find a comparable product there, here's the site:
