I don't have an engine picture yet... Heres one of the inside with the wrong seats in it.
I got the original seats with the car... It took me two days to put the original seats back in. Now I have new covers coming for the seat so I'll need to remove them to install the covers... I also want to buy new door panels but WOW at $400.00 each I'm going to be looking for a while... I got the seat covers off E-bay for $110.05 normally sells for $550.00.
The carpet not in bad shape but it faded to a blue color. So first I'm going to try carpet dye.

Next I'm buying or building a car lift... It's impossible to work under a Vette even with it up on ramps... I'm guessing I'm in the wrong class because Vette people probably don't work on there own cars...

Wrong, wrong. I bet most of the people on the forum work on their cars. To what degree depends on the persons skill set, room, $$$ to spend and how your spouse feels.
Congrats and good luck. You'll find a lot your answers to your questions here.

Thanks Bill

I paid 3500 for this running 72 a couple of months ago and thought that was a killer deal.

Great job and welcome.

Hi Walter.

I just purchased some "barely used" door panels for mine.... The new ones were an impulse purchase and are closer to stock. They will make the ones I have available. Are you looking for a particular color (mine is red)? They are in very good shape, they are cloth on the upper panel. I just have never really like the cloth upper panel..... Just a goofy personal preference I guess.

If you're looking for new, then Willcox Corvette had the best price for a pair that I've found. Lots of suppliers out there and some have sales.

Walter,

It looks like, by the stamping on the side to be a Weber.

Oh, and one more thing. I can't speak for everyone, but my day job funds my passions ('75 Vette Coupe).....and Yes, I work on mine. I have full coverage and towing in case I really screw up and need to get it hauled by flat bed to someone who can unscrew it up for me.... LOL!

It doesn't really look like it needs to be repainted, definitely a great buy. Will they be taking it apart to paint it? What color are you going to go with?
