I purchased my 1969 Corvette new in the summer of 1969. Around 1974 I needed to replace the battery. I purchased a Sunoco True Blue life time battery.
Now, evertime I need a new battery for my C-3, I write Sunoco. They tell me to purchase any battery I would like and send then the receipt. They then send me a check. So far I have had 6 or 7 battery replacements from Sonoco. Anyone else buy a Sunoco lifetime battery?
I have the same deal with my JC Penney lifetime battery. They are no longer in the auto buisness, but they send me to Sears with a voucher to get a free die hard!
I also have the same deal with Midas Muffler. I havent paid for a muffler in 40 years. (See ya again boys)

Pretty good deal on the batteries considering what they cost now. My 07 Sierra battery was $120 from the dealer and the only other battery I could find in town was at Advance Auto and they wanted $175 for their HD battery. My buddy has an Advance business account and I got it at his cost. Still very expensive for a battery. Sounds like you have a good thing going with the vette.
