C3 First Oil Change
First oil change on 76 Stingray since I bought it, original engine, not sure the exact milage. Any reccomendations on a specific oil and weight, any and all info will help. Thanks

The best recommendation I can give you is to make sure that what ever oil you use has a zinc additive or else use a ZDDP additive. With flat tappet cams this is very important so you dont wipe cam lopes and lifters.

on my 76' bought with who knows what.switched to mobil 1 10w 30 and a fram extra guard filter so i can get it off easy.developed a slight valve tick.switched to mobil 1 15w 50 and the engine is quieter and tick is gone.not sure if this helps but good luck anyway.
